PontePatros is a Retrofit Coordination & Monitoring Platform (RCMP) that helps local authorities accelerate delivery of energy-efficiency and net zero programmes through a streamlined, data-driven approach.
How We Support Local Authorities:
Eligibility & Resident Outreach
PontePatros automates the identification of eligible households for ECO4, GBIS, HUG and local schemes. Councils can upload datasets or integrate directly to generate instant eligibility checks, risk scores, and tailored messaging. Behaviour-change triggers alert residents when we detect issues such as high humidity or poor ventilation, improving engagement and transparency.
Baseline Housing Diagnostics
Using LoRaWAN indoor environment sensors (temperature, humidity, CO₂, VOCs), the platform provides objective, 30-minute interval data to identify damp, mould, condensation and ventilation risks. This gives councils a clear picture of housing conditions before intervention.
Retrofit Coordination & Monitoring Dashboard
Councils gain a single dashboard showing scheme performance, resident journeys, bottlenecks, and risk indicators. This reduces administrative burden, supports resource planning, and improves reporting consistency.
Post-Retrofit Validation
Continuous monitoring after installations verifies improvements in comfort, ventilation balance and damp/mould risk reduction. This provides evidence for funders, suppliers, and internal assurance teams.
How We Measure Impact
- CO₂e savings and improved thermal performance
- Reductions in high-risk humidity/damp events
- Increased retrofit uptake through targeted outreach
- Improved resident satisfaction and reduced escalation of housing issues
- Time savings from automated eligibility workflows
- Clear, auditable metrics for programme reporting
Local authorities with large or complex housing stocks
Boroughs with significant numbers of older, hard-to-treat, or EPC D–G homes benefit from our ability to prioritise high-risk households, streamline eligibility checks, and monitor conditions pre- and post-retrofit.
Councils running or preparing for ECO4, GBIS, HUG or local retrofit schemes
Authorities involved in national schemes often face administrative burden, data fragmentation, and low resident engagement. PontePatros automates key processes and improves scheme uptake.
Authorities focused on damp, mould, fuel poverty, and healthy homes
Councils working to address cold homes or public health risks gain real-time environmental insights that help them target the right properties and track improvements.
Councils with limited internal digital or retrofit capacity
The platform is well-suited to smaller district councils, boroughs with stretched teams, or those early in their retrofit journey who need a “turnkey” solution for coordination and monitoring.
Councils aiming to scale outreach and engage harder-to-reach residents
Our eligibility checks, segmentation tools, and behaviour-change alerts help authorities reach vulnerable groups and increase access to funding.
PontePatros has not yet launched a live pilot, but we are currently in structured discussions with several West London local authorities to begin pilots in 2026. These early engagements have provided valuable insight into the challenges councils face when delivering retrofit and healthy homes programmes.
Our proposed pilots aim to address gaps through automated eligibility screening, targeted outreach, baseline indoor-environment monitoring, behaviour-change alerts, and a unified retrofit coordination dashboard. Expected outcomes include improved scheme uptake, clearer prioritisation of high-risk homes, reduced damp and mould incidents, and stronger reporting evidence.
We are actively seeking additional local authority partners to co-design and validate these pilots in 2026.
The cost of our support depends on the scope and scale of the pilot, including the number of households and monitoring required. We’re flexible and happy to discuss options to align with each council’s objectives and budget.
