Following the launch of the Resilient Recovery Taskforce in September 2020, UK100 convened a series of workshops with local authority members and experts from the clean energy sector to share insights on local on-the-ground delivery and to identify priorities for action.

The workshops, designed to help us to shape national climate policy, covered three crucial issues: smart energy communities, the transport revolution, and heating and homes. The findings are outlined in three briefing papers.

This one sets out the key policy priorities that will enable the UK to meet the scale of change required to transform the country’s energy networks, as identified by Ofgem in July 2020.
