Our Local Net Zero Summit 2022 has been postponed until November, but we held a launch of our new Local Net Zero Delivery Progress reports in July.

With the UK on the cusp of a new wave of Covid cases and the threat of rail disruption still looming large, UK100 and West Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority took the tough decision to postpone our physical Local Net Zero Summit 2022: From Declaration to Delivery on 14 July 2022.

Instead, we hosted a virtual webinar on 14 July to launch our flagship Local Net Zero Delivery progress update reports, which follow hot on the heels of the latest Climate Change Committee report to Parliament

Meanwhile, the Local Net Zero summit, co-hosted by UK100, Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire, and the West Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, has been postponed until 17 November 2022. It promises to be a vibrant and positive opportunity to join other leaders, mayors and ministers in showcasing the ambitious work taking place in towns and cities across the UK while assessing local and national progress on delivery.

We will be focussing on how local authorities can can lead the nationwide energy efficiency revolution to deliver warmer homes, cheaper bills, and ambitious climate change action.
