UK100’s Annual Parliamentary Reception 2023
Hosted at the Terrace Pavilion, House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA on Monday 4th December from 18:30
It is an interesting time for Net Zero. This year we’ve seen climate misinformation continue to take root across the UK, changes to national Net Zero policy, and a host of successes from yourself and other members who continue to show that delivering Net Zero is possible, and necessary. Next year will be no different, with a general election looming, more local elections, and international change across the Atlantic too.
Now is the time for local authorities, of all party colours, shapes and sizes, to unite because your role as local climate Leaders will be more important than ever.
Join us for our Annual Parliamentary Reception where we’ll hear from our new Chief Executive Christopher Hammond, Wera Hobhouse MP, and UK Power Networks. The evening will be a celebration of UK100’s key achievements and impact in 2023, as well as an opportunity to share the successes and best practice from innovative, leading Local Authorities in the area of climate change and the environment across the UK. During the event, UK100 will be launching our annual review and presenting our look forward to 2024.
Canapes and drinks will be provided.
Admittance is upon presentation of an invitation only. Please RSVP to membership@uk100.org, and do let us know if you have any questions, dietary, or access requirements.
We very much hope you are able to join us to celebrate the hard work of members like yourselves, and UK100.
Best wishes,
Christopher Hammond, Chief Executive, UK100
